About the Role
The Superintendent will oversee daily field operations on active water and wastewater treatment plant projects. This individual will be responsible for coordinating crews, managing subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and ensuring safe, high-quality project execution. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong field presence and technical knowledge of treatment plant construction.
Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership & Execution

Oversee day-to-day construction activities on water and wastewater treatment projects

Coordinate and supervise field crews and subcontractors

Ensure work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and safety standards
Schedule & Quality Management

Monitor project schedules and support timeline adherence

Maintain site organization and quality control processes

Manage field documentation and reporting
Communication & Coordination

Communicate regularly with project managers, inspectors, and clients

Support inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Safety & Compliance

Enforce site safety policies and procedures

Lead by example in maintaining a safe job site environment
Qualifications

Prior Superintendent experience on water and/or wastewater treatment plant projects

Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field operations

Proven ability to lead crews and manage multiple trades simultaneously

OSHA certification preferred
