About the Role
The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed and competitive estimates for commercial construction projects. This role requires strong technical knowledge, proficiency with AccuBid, and the ability to collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure cost-effective project pursuits.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and competitive electrical estimates for commercial and industrial construction projects

Analyze project drawings, specifications, and proposals to determine full scope of work

Utilize AccuBid software to perform takeoffs and develop detailed pricing

Assemble and submit comprehensive bid packages

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure cost-effective solutions

Provide cost analysis and value engineering recommendations

Track estimate progress and adjust pricing as scope changes occur

Manage multiple bids simultaneously while maintaining organized documentation
Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical estimating within commercial construction

Master Electrician license in Texas, Louisiana, Nebraska, or North Carolina

Proficiency in AccuBid estimating software

Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction practices

Exceptional attention to detail and analytical ability

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and within a team environment
