About the Role

The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, conceptual budgets, and competitive bids for electrical projects. This position requires strong market awareness, vendor relationships, and the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify material quantities and perform detailed takeoffs

• Prepare detailed and conceptual electrical cost estimates

• Develop competitive bids for new project pursuits

• Maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors

• Vet subcontractors and review pricing for accuracy and competitiveness

• Provide cost reduction and value engineering recommendations

• Assess market conditions and pricing trends

• Support overall budgeting and pricing strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent experience

• 3+ years of electrical estimating experience

• Proficiency with Bluebeam or AccuBid

• Texas Master Electrician license required
