About the Role

This Estimator position sits within an established preconstruction team focused on delivering major structural concrete scopes. You will play a key role in bid preparation, quantity takeoffs, pricing validation, and pursuit strategy, working closely with operations to ensure practical, buildable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for structural concrete scopes including foundations, slabs, vertical concrete, tilt wall, and formwork

• Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports

• Collaborate with operations teams to validate means, methods, and sequencing

• Support bid strategy, value engineering, and risk assessment during pursuits

• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing

• Maintain organized cost breakdowns and documentation for review and submission

Qualification

• Estimating experience with a self-perform concrete contractor

• Strong technical understanding of structural concrete systems

• Experience on large-scale commercial or industrial projects preferred

• Proficiency with estimating software and Excel

• Detail-oriented, commercially astute, and comfortable working to deadlines
