Superintendent

Blayze Group is partnering with a well-established commercial general contractor to appoint a Superintendent to lead ground-up commercial projects across Dallas and the surrounding areas.

The Role

• Lead daily field operations on ground-up commercial construction projects
• Manage subcontractors, field teams, schedules, safety, quality, and site logistics
• Oversee project execution from site mobilization through closeout
• Coordinate trades, inspections, materials, deliveries, and day-to-day site activity
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, schedules, and construction documents
• Work closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to keep projects moving
• Maintain clear site documentation including daily reports, progress updates, safety records, and field coordination notes
• Drive quality control and ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and on schedule

Background Sought

• Experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Field Superintendent, or Lead Superintendent
• Strong ground-up commercial construction experience is essential
• Background coming up through the trades, ideally carpentry, framing, or field supervision
• Experience working for a commercial general contractor preferred
• Strong understanding of site sequencing, subcontractor coordination, safety, and quality control
• Able to manage projects independently and communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and trade partners
• Stable career history and a hands-on field-first approach
