About the Role

Our client, a reputable and growing contractor in the Dallas area, is seeking a Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across a range of commercial construction sites.

This is a high-impact role where you'll be responsible for cultivating a culture of safety, ensuring compliance, and reducing risk on some of the region’s most exciting builds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and enforce site-specific safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and safety orientations for all jobsite personnel
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain documentation for OSHA compliance and internal reporting
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure safety is integrated into daily operations

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of safety experience in commercial construction
  • Degree in Occupational health and Safety
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices
  • OSHA 500, CHST, or other relevant safety certifications preferred
  • Worker's compensation experience
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills
  • Ability to be field-focused with a hands-on approach to problem-solving
