Superintendent - Restaurants

We’re hiring on behalf of a well-established general contractor with a strong track record of delivering high-quality commercial spaces. They are seeking a Superintendent to oversee ground-up builds for national and regional restaurant chains, as well as retail developments.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is detail-oriented, and can drive projects from pre-construction through to close-out while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of multiple ground-up commercial projects.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Develop project schedules and ensure timelines are met.
• Monitor budgets and project costs; identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.
• Conduct regular site visits and meetings to oversee progress and quality.
• Handle permits, inspections, and project documentation.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial ground-up construction.
• Proven experience with restaurant and/or retail builds.
• Strong understanding of local building codes, scheduling, and construction processes.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and suppliers simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in project management software and construction documentation tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• OSHA certification or similar safety training.
