About the Role
A well-established Florida-based contractor is actively seeking a Project Manager to oversee the execution of concrete restoration and waterproofing projects across the Tampa region.
This role is geared toward construction professionals with direct experience managing technically demanding, exterior-focused scopes — including structural repairs, balcony rehab, façade restoration, sealant replacement, coatings, and full-system waterproofing. Projects are typically performed on occupied commercial and multifamily buildings, requiring detailed planning, safety management, and tenant coordination.
You'll be responsible for full-cycle project delivery, from mobilization through closeout, with accountability for schedule, cost, field performance, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of concrete repair and waterproofing projects in active building environments
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field staff to ensure safety, quality, and schedule alignment
- Track job costs, budgets, and production performance to maintain profitability
- Oversee project documentation: RFIs, submittals, daily reports, change orders, and closeout packages
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and third-party consultants
- Coordinate access systems (e.g., swing stages, scaffolding) and phased work plans
- Drive proactive issue resolution and maintain compliance with QA/QC protocols
What You Bring:
- Minimum 5 years of construction experience, with direct expertise in both concrete restoration and waterproofing
- Strong understanding of exterior repair systems, access logistics, and occupied-building construction protocols
- Proven ability to manage multiple crews, critical path schedules, and cost tracking systems
- Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar)
- Excellent communication skills and a hands-on, accountable leadership style
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (not required)
